ART NOUVEAU LAMP, PATINATED BRONZE AND STAINED GLASS, TIFFANY STYLE, 1960s.
 
This unique table lamp combines colorful glass art with high-quality metal craftsmanship to create an impressive mid-century lighting object. It was crafted in the style of the famous Tiffany Studios and is strongly reminiscent of their originals in terms of quality and expression. The lamp was manufactured after 1903, when Louis Comfort Tiffany's patent for the copper foil technique expired.
This paved the way for other manufacturers, such as the Unique Art Glass & Metal Company of New York, to produce high-quality leaded glass lamps that equaled the original in craftsmanship and design. The shade, inspired by the well-known Lotus Pagoda lamp, consists of numerous vibrant, hand-cut glass elements. These are artfully framed using lead, creating a vibrant interplay of light and color sometimes shiny, sometimes matte, always atmospheric. The heavy bronze base is shaped like a tree trunk with visible roots, an expressive symbol of nature and permanence. The natural patina on the metal adds depth and character to the lamp. As is typical for this manufacturer, the lamp is unsigned. Nevertheless, its shape, material, and craftsmanship speak for themselves; this is an authentic, handcrafted piece that is stylistically comparable to works by Wilkinson or Duffner & Kimberly. Equipped with four E14 sockets, the lamp emits a pleasant, warm light, ideal as accent lighting or a decorative light fixture in the living room. A rare piece with collector value, decorative, functional and of timeless beauty.
