ANTIQUE SEWING TABLE, WALNUT VENEER ON SOFTWOOD, SECOND HALF OF THE 19TH CENTURY.

 

This sewing table dates from the second half of the 19th century and combines classic design with practical functionality. Crafted from walnut, partly veneered on softwood, it features a three part serpentine base resting on a turned central support. The top contains two drawers, the upper one with a practical compartmentalized section for sewing accessories. The rectangular tabletop offers a generous working surface.
